The Short Version
I do not sell your personal data. I do not track your keystrokes. Our free tools save your stitch counts and hook preferences directly on your own device using local storage, not in an external database.
1. Free Tools and Local Storage
When you use the stitch counter, hook converter, or yarn calculator, your data stays in your browser's LocalStorage. If you clear your browser cache or reset the counter, that data is wiped. Nobody at The Slow Stitch can see your row counts.
2. Newsletter and Email Capture
If you request our printable row tracker or join the club waitlist, your email is stored securely through MailerLite. You will only receive genuine crochet updates, free PDF releases, and tutorials. You can click "Unsubscribe" with one click at the bottom of any email at any time.
3. Contact Form
Messages submitted through our contact page are transmitted via Web3Forms directly to Maeve's inbox. Your email is only used to reply to your question.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We do not use intrusive third-party cross-site trackers or ad tracking cookies. A simple cookie or local storage item is used solely to remember whether you prefer light or dark mode.
